Payment

Once your application has been received, we will be in touch via email to confirm whether it has been accepted. Please note that payment is due on the 1st of the month the market is held e.g. 1st of February for the February Market

Terms & Conditions

By completing this application, you agree to the Kumeu Market Terms & Conditions.
Stall applications must be completed in full.

Trading Times & Access

  • Set-up: 6:30am – 8:30am
  • Food trucks must be in position by 7:30am
  • All vehicles must be in vendor parking by 8:30am
  • Market open: 9:00am – 2:00pm
  • Pack-down: from 2:00pm (no vehicle access until public has cleared)
  • Optional early set-up: Saturday 9:30am – 12:00pm (by arrangement only)

Stall Fees (incl GST)

  • Full Inside Stall (3m x 3m) – $50
  • Outdoor Stall (3m x 3m) – $50
  • Food Truck – $100
  • 1.8m Indoor Table Hire – $5
  • Power (limited availability) – $50 per food vendor (pre-booked only)

Safety & Site Requirements

  • Hazard lights must be used while driving and unloading on site
  • Please look for high-vis Market staff for assistance on the day
  • Drive slowly and follow staff directions on arrival
  • All vehicles must be moved promptly after unloading
  • Keep all setups within allocated space
  • Vendors must not obstruct neighbouring stalls
  • Generators must be used outdoors only
  • All electrical equipment must be NZ-compliant and tagged
  • No cooking is permitted inside sheds (health & safety requirement)
  • Food vendors must prepare food onsite and hold a current Food Operator Licence. “Eat Safe” Council certificate must be held and displayed on site
  • No amplification is permitted inside sheds
  • No smoking or vaping in sheds
  • Strictly NO dogs allowed (working farm)
  • No nails or screws in buildings unless approved
  • Water taps are available around the grounds
  • The Kumeu Market Organisers reserve the right to change stall locations without prior notice
  • Vendors are responsible for their own insurance (goods, setup, vehicles, equipment). The organisers and Kumeu Showgrounds accept no liability for loss or damage
  • Market runs rain or shine. No refunds due to weather

  • Unpaid sites will be released

Cancellations

  • 7+ days: credit
  • 2–7 days: credit + $20 rebooking fee
  • <48 hrs / no-show: no credit + $20 rebooking fee
